Graduated Rollins College 1978 with B.A. degree in Chemistry and Business. He joined the Company at that time as Advertising Manager and Director. Was Secretary in 1981 and Purchasing Manager. In 1982 elected Vice Chairman, Vice President - Purchasing and Director. In 1986 elected Vice President of Mining and Manufacturing, May 1, 1991 appointed Executive Vice President - Mining and Manufacturing. Effective July 1, 1995, became President & Chief Operating Officer; January 1, 1996, elected Chief Executive Officer. During the Board of Directors' Meeting of September 19, 2000, elected Chairman.
