SONGNOX® 1024 FF SONGNOX 1024 FG SONGNOX 1024 PWSONGNOX 1024 is a metal deactivator and antioxidant for wire and cable, adhesive (both hot melt and solution), and powder coating applications. It is effective in PE, PP, Crosslinked PE, EPDM, styrenic elastomers, nylon, PU, polyacetal, and styrenic copolymers, and can be used as the primary antioxidant or can be used in combination with hindered phenolic antioxidants (particularly SONGNOX 1010) to achieve synergistic performance. SONGNOX 1076 CP SONGNOX 1076 FC SONGNOX 1076 FF SONGNOX 1076 PW SONGNOX 1076 SBSONGNOX 1076 is primary antioxidant for organic polymers PE, PC, PVB, PVC, PU, acrylics, styrenics, and elastomers. It is very effective in reducing viscosity change and gel formation in polymer processing, and provides long term heat stability by protecting physical properties during storage and use of end product. SONGNOX 1076 exhibits a synergistic effect in combination with SONGNOX 1680 and other secondary antioxidants, and can be used with benzotriazoles or HALS for thermal and light stabilization in outdoor use. SONGNOX 1076 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers, as well as being FDA listed in 21 CFR 175.105, Adhesives for food packaging. SONGNOX 1077 LQSONGNOX 1077 LQ, a sterically hindered phenol which is a liquid at room temperature, is a primary antioxidant for organic polymers, including ABS, acrylics, PE, PU, PVC and elastomers such as BR, CR, EPDM, NBR and SBR. It can also be used in synthetic fibers, waxes, fats and oils. SONGNOX 1135 LQSONGNOX 1135 is a sterically hindered phenol that is a liquid at room temperature. It is a primary antioxidant that can be used in a wide range of organic polymers, such as ABS, PE, and PVC. It is an effective, non-discoloring stabilizer that provides excellent long term stability. SONGNOX 1135 exhibits a synergistic effect in combination with phosphites, and can be used with benzotriazoles or HALS for thermal and light stabilization in outdoor applications. SONGNOX 1680 FF SONGNOX 1680 PWSONGNOX 1680 is a secondary antioxidant for organic polymers, providing melt flow and color protection during thermal processing. Applications include polyolefins, polycarbonate, polyester and styrenics, as well as being used in combination with hindered phenol (such as SONGNOX 1010, 1076, or 3114) to achieve synergistic performance. Can be used with benzotriazoles and HALS for thermal and light stabilization in out door use. SONGNOX 1680 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers. SONGNOX 2450 FF SONGNOX 2450 PWSONGNOX 2450 is a high performance, sterically hindered, primary phenolic antioxidant that protects organic polymers against thermo-oxidative degradation during the manufacturing processes and in end-use applications. It is an effective antioxidant for acrylics, styrenics, synthetic rubbers, POM homo and copolymer, polyurethanes, polyamides, polyesters, MBC and PVC. It is odorless, with low volatility and good color stability. It is extraction resistant and highly soluble in polar polymers. SONGNOX 2450 provides Fish Eye reduction in flexible PVC applications and is a chain stopper in both PVC and ABS manufacturing processes. SONGNOX 2450 exhibits a synergistic effect when used in combination with thioester antioxidants and can be used with benzotriazoles or HALS for thermal and light stabilization in outdoor use. SONGNOX 2450 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers. SONGNOX 2500 PW SONGNOX 2500 is an excellent nonstaining and non-discoloring heat stabilizer for natural and synthetic rubbers, providing effective protection against oxygen and sun cracking. It is an efficient stabilizer for raw polymers, and is especially suitable for acrylonitrile (NBR) polymers. SONGNOX 2500 is very effective in unvulcanized rubber adhesives, tapes and film. It is particularly effective in water-based systems, and is used in a wide variety of coatings. It can also be used with a lower volatility antioxidant to insure long lasting protection. Light Stabilizers SONGLIGHT® 1190 LDSONGLIGHT 1190 LD is a HALS of N-CH3 type that protects polymers from degredation due to ultra violet radiation and long term heat aging. Its high molecular weight makes it effective in PE and PP, and also with alpha-olefin copolymers and blends with EPR, ERR, EVA, EAA, EVOH, PE and filled PP. SONGLIGHT 1190 LD may also be used in EPDM, SBS, SIS, SEBS, styrenics and alpha-methyl styrenics such as ABS, AES, ASA, IPS, SAN, and SMA, and also with blends or alloys of these polymers with other polymers. May also be used in flexible and rigid PVC, PVDC, Polyurethanes, Polyamides (e.g., PA6, PA66, PA12, POM, PPE, PET, PBT and blends); also PMMA cast sheet and thermoplastic resin, UPE, PET and PA fibers. SONGLIGHT 1190 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers. SONGLIGHT 2920 LQSONGLIGHT 2920 is a liquid hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-Ch3 type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. It can be used in PE, PP, styrenics, unsaturated polyesters, acrylics, vinyl polymers, and elastomers. Applications include plastics soles, adhesives and sealants. Its liquid form and solubility characteristics make it very suitable for coatings, printing ink and polyurethane lacquer. SONGLIGHT 2920 can be also used in combination with phenolic and phosphite antioxidants and UVAs to optimize performance in outdoor use. SONGLIGHT 6220 LDSONGLIGHT 6220 is a polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-R type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. It exhibits good compatibility in a wide range of polymers, with very low volatility and migration in use, resulting in cleaner surfaces and excellent thermal stability at processing temperatures. Its low melting range makes it effective for use in PP, PE, styrenics, unsaturated polyester, acrylic, PVC, plastisols, elastomers, adhesives, sealants and spin finishes. It is an excellent stabilizer for systems containing a high loading of carbon black, and can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants, lower molecular weight HALS, and UVAs to optimize performance in outdoor applications. UV Absorbers SONGSORB® 1000 PWSONGSORB 1000 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 390 to 400nm region, and has a high degree of photostability (photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy). SONGSORB 1000 is a particularly effective UV protector in acetals, acrylics, cellulose esters, PC, polyesters, polystyrene, and PVC. It also provides UV protection to ABS, unsaturated rubber polymers, PU and epoxies. It can also be used in combination with phenolic and phosphite antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor applications. SONGSORB 1000 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers. SONGSORB 3200 PWSONGSORB 3200 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 300 to 400nm region with it's a high degree of photostability, and is recommended for use in styrenics, vinyls, polycarbonates, polyesters and acrylics. With the normal use level ranging from 0.2 to 0.8%. SONGSORB 3200 is highly effective in stabilizing urethane and nitrocellulose coatings at a use level range of 0.5 to 2.0%, and can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants, as well as HALS, to optimize performance in outdoor applications. Note: Should be stored in a cool, dry, well ventilated are, away from direct sunlight. SONGSORB 3260 PWSONGSORB 3260 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet light in the 300-400nm region and has a high degree of photostability. It has a greater absorption of longer wavelengths than SONGSORB 1000 and better compatibility with polyolefins, lower volatility, and suppressed ionization of the phenolic group. It is less affected by alkalinity, is less likely to discolor with metals, and has less effect on metal driers and metal catalysts due to the higher dissociation constant of SONGSORB 3260. Recommended for use levels of 0.2 - 1.0% in PP, PE, polybutylene, polyesters, and coatings. Can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use. SONGSORB 3260 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers. SONGSORB 3270 PWSONGSORB 3270 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 290-500nm region and has a high degree of photostability (photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy). Exhibits good initial color, low volatility, excellent stability to heat and light, superior wash fastness, and resistance to gas fading. It's particularly suitable for PP and PE, as well as cold cured polyesters, polyurethanes, dyes, and pigments. The low pKa and high hindrance of the phenolic group result in low sensitivity to metal containing ingredients in the polymer formulation (catalysts residues, metallic dries, etc). Can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use. SONGSORB 3280 PWSONGSORB 3280 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet light in the 290-400nm region and has a high degree of photostability, featuring strong UV absorption, low initial color, good solubility in plasticizer and monomers, moderately low volatility and excellent compatibility in a wide variety of substrates. Recommended for use in polyolefins, PVC, styrene homo- and co-polymers, ABS, acrylic polymers, unsaturated polyesters, thermoplastic urethanes, moisture-cured polyurethanes, polyacetals, polyvinylbutyral, two component epoxies and urethanes, oil alkyds and thermosetting acrylic enamels. Can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use. SONGSORB 3290 PWSONGSORB 3290 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet light in the 200-400nm region and has a high degree of photostability. Provides effective light stabilization and prevents the yellowing and degradation of polymers such as polycarbonate, unsaturated polyesters, and acrylics. Can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use. SONGSORB 7120 PWSONGSORB 7120 is a substituted benzoate that absorbs ultraviolet radiation, and through a reversible chemical rearrangement, dissipates the energy as heat. It provides better initial color than benzotriazoles and exhibits a synergistic effect in combination with HALS. It can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants and HALS for thermal and light stabilization in outdoor use. Recommended for use at levels of 0.2% - 1% in polypropylene, polyethylene, TPO, PVC, EVA, unsaturated polyester ABS and AS. SONGSORB 7120 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers. SONGSORB 8100 PWSONGSORB 8100 absorbs ultraviolet radiation in the 240-340nm region. Exhibits synergy with HALS. Excellent solubility and compatibility with high solid coatings formulations. For better long-term performance use of UVAs of the benzotriazole. Can be used for PE, PP, PVC, PS, PC, PP fiber, Ethylene vinyl acetate etc. Provides good light stability effect in Paints, Powder coatings, Polyurethanes, Rubbers. Dosage is 0.1~0.5% based on polymer weight. Is recommended in PE, PP, PVC etc. For additional information please consult the MSDS.
