SONGNOX 1010 exhibits a synergistic effect in combination with SONGNOX 1680 and other secondary antioxidants, and can be used with benzotriazoles or HALS for thermal and light stabilization in outdoor use.           SONGNOX 1077 LQ
SONGNOX 1077 is a sterically hindered phenol that is a liquid at room temperature. It is a primary antioxidant for organic polymers including ABS, acrylics, PE, PU, PVC and elastomers such as BR, CR, EPDM, NBR and SBR. It can also be used in synthetic fibers, waxes, fats and oils.

          SONGNOX 1290 PW
SONGNOX 1290 is a primary antioxidant for organic polymers that is effective in polymer processing for reducing viscosity change and gel formation, and also affords resistance to thermo-oxidative degradation during storage and end use. SONGNOX 1290 enhances the thermal aging properties of PP, and is highly effective in plastics including crystal and high impact polystyrene, ABS terpolymer, PVC, and PA. It is very effective in polyurethanes, adhesives, and elastomers such as EPDM, SBS, and rubber blends with polyolefins, as well as in natural and synthetic tackifier resins. Exhibits a synergistic effect in combination with SONGNOX 1680 and thioester antioxidants. SONGNOX 1290 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers, as well as being FDA listed in 21 CFR 175.105, Adhesives for food packaging.

          SONGNOX 2450 FF
          SONGNOX 2450 PW
SONGNOX 2450 is a high performance, sterically hindered, primary phenolic antioxidant that protects organic polymers against thermo-oxidative degradation during the manufacturing processes and in end-use applications. It is an effective antioxidant for acrylics, styrenics, synthetic rubbers, POM homo and copolymer, polyurethanes, polyamides, polyesters, MBC and PVC. It is odorless, with low volatility and good color stability. It is extraction resistant and highly soluble in polar polymers. SONGNOX 2450 provides Fish Eye reduction in flexible PVC applications and is a chain stopper in both PVC and ABS manufacturing processes. SONGNOX 2450 exhibits a synergistic effect when used in combination with thioester antioxidants and can be used with benzotriazoles or HALS for thermal and light stabilization in outdoor use. SONGNOX 2450 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers.

          SONGNOX 4120 PW
SONGNOX 4120 is a secondary antioxidant for organic polymers. It contains sulfur, has a high molecular weight and low volatility. It demonstrates low leaching properties, and high heat resistance. It is a better performing synergist with phenolic antioxidant than SONGNOX DLTDP and SONGNOX DSTDP, and can be used with hindered phenolic antioxidants to achieve synergistic performance. SONGNOX 4120 is recommended as an antioxidant for PP, PE, PC-ABS and engineering thermoplastics, but needs to be used under controlled temperature and humidity.           SONGNOX 6180 FC
SONGNOX 6180 is a secondary high-performance antioxidant for organic polymers, offering excellent color protection during thermal procesing. Applications include polyolefins, elastomers, polyesters, styrenics, engineering thermoplastics, and adhesive formulations. SONGNOX 6180 reduces discoloration of polymers containing pigments such as TiO2, and polymers that are stabilized with sulfur-containing nickel organic complexes and processed at high temperature. SONGNOX 6180 is synergistic when used with UV absorbers. SONGNOX 6180 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers.           SONGNOX 6260 PW
SONGNOX 6260 is a high performance secondary antioxidant for organic polymers, that provides excellent melt flow and color protection during thermal processing. Applications include polyolefins, elastomers, polycarbonate, polyester, and styrenics. SONGNOX 6260 can be used in combination with hindered phenols, such as SONGNOX 1010 and 1076 to achieve synergistic performance, and can be used with UV absorbers and HALS for thermal and light stabilizations in outdoor use. SONGNOX 6260 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers. Note: Product is moisture sensitive, so please consult the MSDS for handling considerations.

          SONGNOX 6280 FF
SONGNOX 6280 is a 90:10 mixture of SONGNOX 6260 and magnesium aluminum hydroxide carbonate hydrate. It is a secondary antioxidant for organic polymers, being effective in the stabilization of polyolefins, elastomers, engineering plastics and adhesives. It is an excellent discoloration inhibitor, providing excellent color stability during compounding and fabrication, while improving light stability.

          SONGNOX DLTDP
SONGNOX DLTDP is a secondary thioester synergistic antioxidant for organic polymers. It decomposes and neutralizes hydroperoxides formed by the auto-oxidation of polymers. SONGNOX DLTDP is an antioxidant for plastics, rubber, synthetic fiber, fats, oils and petroleum products, and an efficient stabilizer for polyolefins, particularly PP and HDPE. Mainly used in PE, PP, ABS, HIPS, polyester and polyamide. Can be used as a synergist in combination with phenolic antioxidants to enhance aging and light stability. The low melting point of SONGNOX DLTDP permits easier melting to use as a liquid for dispersing other additives for polymer addition.

          SONGNOX DSTDP
SONGNOX DSTDP is a secondary thioester synergistic antioxidant for organic polymers. It decomposes and neutralizes hydroperoxides formed by the auto-oxidation of polymers. SONGNOX DSTDP is an antioxidant for plastics, rubber, synthetic fiber, fats, oils and petroleum products, and an efficient stabilizer for polyolefins, particularly PP and HDPE. Mainly used in PE, PP, ABS, HIPS, polyester and polyamide. Can be used as a synergist in combination with phenolic antioxidants to enhance aging and light stability. SONGNOX DSTDP is FDA listed in 21 CFR 175.105, Adhesives for food packaging.

          SONGNOX DTDTP
Songnox DTDTP is a secondary thioester antioxidant for organic polymers which decomposes and neutralizes hydroperoxides formed by auto-oxidation of polymers. It is an antioxidant for plastics, rubber, synthetic fiber, fats and oils, and petroleum products.

Songnox DTDTP is an efficient stabilizer for polyolefins, particularly PP and HDPE, and is mainly used in ABS, HIPS PE, PP, polyamids and polyesters. It may also be used as a synergist in combination with phenolic antioxidants to enhance aging and light stabilization.

Heat Stabilizers

          SONGSTAB^® SC-110
Heat stabilizer for PVC applications, including rigid sheet and pipe, as well as flexible film and sheet. A halogen/acid scavenger and lubricant for plastics. Provide excellent synergistic effects when used in combination with SZ-210 and epoxy stabilizers. It is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers.

          SONGSTAB SZ-210
Halogen/acid scavenger and lubricant for plastics. Applications include PVC film and sheet, polyolefin, stabilization, paint driers, rubber mold release and epoxy stabilizers. Provides excellent synergistic effects when used with calcium and epoxy stabilizers. Has very low moisture and free acid content. Excellent lubricity for PS applications, and its particle size results in higher bulk density and lower dust.

          SONGSTAB SM-310
Heat stabilizer for PVC applications including film for food packaging and profile extensions. Also for ABS applications. A halogen acid scavenger and lubricant for plastics. SONGSTAB SM-310 particle size provides higher bulk density and lower dust. It is also non-sulfide staining and provides excellent lubricity.

          SONGSTAB SB-410
Provides continuous heat stability for PVC applications, including rigid sheet and pipe, as well as flexible transparent film and sheet. Provides excellent synergistic effects when used with Cd, Zn and Pb stabilizers. Offers good transparency, lubricity and electrical properties, with reduced plate-out due to lubrication.

          VANSTAY SC (TIOP)
TIOP Triisooctyl Phosphite is a liquid phosphite. It is a PVC stabilizer that works particularly well with other heat stabilizers such as calcium/zinc stearates. TIOP also contributes to improved processing by decreasing melt viscosity. Can also be used as a chelating agent for polymers and plastics.

Light Stabilizers

          SONGLIGHT^® 1190 LD
SONGLIGHT 1190 LD is a HALS of N-CH3 type that protects polymers from degredation due to ulta violet radiation and long term heat aging. Its high molecular weight makes it effective in PE and PP, and also with alpha-olefin compolymers and blends with EPR, ERR, EVA, EAA, EVOH, PE and filled PP. SONGLIGHT 1190 LD may also be used in EPDM, SBS, SIS, SEBS, styrenics and alpha-methyl styrenics such as ABS, AES, ASA, IPS, SAN, and SMA, and also with blends or alloys of these polymers with other polymers. May also be used in flexible and rigid PVC, PVDC, Polyurethanes, Polyamides (e.g., PA6, PA66, PA12, POM, PPE, PET, PBT and blends; also PMMA cast sheet and thermoplastic resin, UPE, PET and PA fibers. SONGLIGHT 1190 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers.

          SONGLIGHT 2920 LQ
SONGLIGHT 2920 is a liquid hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-Ch3 type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. It can be used in PE, PP, styrenics, unsaturated polyesters, acrylics, vinyl polymers, and elastomers. Applications include plastics soles, adhesives and sealants. Its liquid form and solubility characteristics make it very suitable for coatings, printing ink and polyurethane lacquer. SONGLIGHT 2920 can be also used in combination with phenolic and phosphite antioxidants and UVAs to optimize performance in outdoor use.

          SONGLIGHT 6220 LD
SONGLIGHT 6220 is a polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-R type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. It exhibits good compatibility in a wide range of polymers, with very low volatility and migration in use, resulting in cleaner surfaces and excellent thermal stability at processing temperatures. Its low melting range makes it effective for use in PP, PE, styrenics, unsaturated polyester, acrylic, PVC, plastisols, elastomers, adhesives, sealants and spin finishes. It is an excellent stabilizer for systems containing a high loading of carbon black, and can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants, lower molecular weight HALS, and UVAs to optimize performance in outdoor applications. SONGLIGHT 6220 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers.

          SONGLIGHT 7700 PW
SONGLIGHT 7700 is a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-H type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. It is effective for use in PP, PE, EPR , EPDM, PU, ABS, PS, HIP, SAN, and PVC. It can be used alone or in combination with higher molecular weight HALS for the UV stabilization of both thick and thin cross section articles including tapes, films, and automotive parts. It can also be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants, higher molecular weight HALS, and UVAs to optimize performance in outdoor use. SONGLIGHT 7700 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers.

          SONGLIGHT 9440 PW
          SONGLIGHT 9440 SB
SONGLIGHT 9440 is a polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-H type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. It exhibits extremely low volatility, high thermal stability and excellent compatibility with many substrates and can be used in PP, LDPE, HDPE, XPE, EVA and PP blends with elastomers. The high molecular weight and polymeric structure make it particularly effective for use in thin section articles such as fiber, tape, and films. It can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, lower molecular weight HALS, and UVA’s to optimize performance in outdoor use. Use with sulfur-containing additives such DSTDP or DLDTP can have a negative influence on the effectiveness of SONGLIGHT 9440. SONGLIGHT 9440 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers.

UV Absorbers

          SONGSORB^® 1000 PW
SONGSORB 1000 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 390 to 400nm region, and has a high degree of photostability (photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy). SONGSORB 1000 is a particularly effective UV protector in acetals, acrylics, cellulose esters, PC, polyesters, polystyrene, and PVC. It also provides UV protection to ABS, unsaturated rubber polymers, PU and epoxies. and can also be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor applications. SONGSORB 1000 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers.

          SONGSORB 2908 PW
SONGSORB 2908 is a substituted benzoate that absorbs ultraviolet radiation and dissipates the energy as heat. It provides antioxidant activity both during thermal processing and in moderate elevated temperatures due to radical scavnging. SONGSORB 2908 exhibits excellent compatibility, low color contribution, low voatility and low toxicity. It is an excellent UV stabilizer for olefins, particularly pigmented opaque formulations for applications such as pipes, drums, and sheeting. It can also be used in combination with phenolic and phosphite antioxidants and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use, and synergizes well with UV absorbers and antioxidants which function as hydroperoxide decomposers. SONGSORB 2908 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers.

          SONGSORB 3200 PW
SONGSORB 3200 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 300 to 400nm region with it's a high degree of photostability, and is recommended for use in styrenics, vinyls, polycarbonates, polyesters and acrylics. With the normal use level ranging from 0.2 to 0.8%. SONGSORB 3200 is highly effective in stabilizing urethane and nitrocellulose coatings at a use level range of 0.5 to 2.0%, and can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants, as well as HALS, to optimize performance in outdoor applications. Note: Should be stored in a cool, dry, well ventilated are, away from direct sunlight.

          SONGSORB 3260 PW
SONGSORB 3260 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet light in the 300-400nm region and has a high degree of photostability. It has a greater absorption of longer wavelengths than SONGSORB 1000 and better compatibility with polyolefins, lower volatility, and suppressed ionization of the phenolic group. It is less affected by alkalinity, is less likely to discolor with metals, and has less effect on metal driers and metal catalysts due to the higher dissociation constant of SONGSORB 3260. Recommended for use levels of 0.2 - 1.0% in PP, PE, polybutylene, polyesters, and coatings. Can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use. SONGSORB 3260 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers.

          SONGSORB 3270 PW
SONGSORB 3270 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 290-500nm region and has a high degree of photostability (photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy). Exhibits good initial color, low volatility, excellent stability to heat and light, superior wash fastness, and resistance to gas fading. It's particularly suitable for PP and PE, as well as cold cured polyesters, polyurethanes, dyes, and pigments. The low pKa and high hindrance of the phenolic group result in low sensitivity to metal containing ingredients in the polymer formulation (catalysts residues, metallic dries, etc). Can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use.

          SONGSORB 3280 PW
SONGSORB 3280 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet light in the 290-400nm region and has a high degree of photostability, featuring strong UV absorption, low initial color, good solubility in plasticizer and monomers, moderately low volatility and excellent compatibility in a wide variety of substrates. Recommended for use in polyolefins, PVC, styrene homo- and co-polymers, ABS, acrylic polymers, unsaturated polyesters, thermoplastic urethanes, moisture-cured polyurethanes, polyacetals, polyvinylbutyral, two component epoxies and urethanes, oil alkyds and thermosetting acrylic enamels. Can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use. SONGSORB 3280 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 175.105, Adhesives for food packaging.

          SONGSORB 7120 PW
SONGSORB 7120 is a substituted benzoate that absorbs ultraviolet radiation, and through a reversible chemical rearrangement, dissipates the energy as heat. It provides better initial color than benzotriazoles and exhibits a synergistic effect in combination with HALS. It can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants and HALS for thermal and light stabilization in outdoor use. Recommended for use at levels of 0.2% - 1% in polypropylene, polyethylene, TPO, PVC, EVA, unsaturated polyester ABS and AS. SONGSORB 7120 is FDA listed in 21 CFR 178.2010, Antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers.

          SONGSORB 8100 PW
SONGSORB 8100 absorbs ultraviolet radiation in the 240-340nm region. Exhibits synergy with HALS. Excellent solubility and compatibility with high solid coatings formulations. For better long-term performance use of UVAs of the benzotriazole. Can be used for PE, PP, PVC, PS, PC, PP fiber, Ethylene vinyl acetate etc. Provides good light stability effect in Paints, Powder coatings, Polyurethanes, Rubbers. Dosage is 0.1~0.5% based on polymer weight. Is recommended in PE, PP, PVC etc. For additional information please consult the MSDS.
