Hypalon® chlorosulfonated polyethylene

Hypalon® chlorosulfonated polyethylene from DuPont Performance Elastomers

  Chemical Resistance Guide

  Hypalon® chlorosulfonated polyethylene

  Hypalon® Applications

Heat and oil resistant rubbers. Outstanding weatherability in bright colors. Oil resistance improves with higher chlorine content; low temperature properties, with lower chlorine content types. Hypalon® 40 is a general purpose polymer.

Adhesion Promoter

  view MSDS    request a sample    Hypalon® CP-826
Hypalon® CP-826 has been specifically developed for adhesion to polypropylene and blends thereof. It can be used in dilute solutions as a wash primer or tie layer between materials that are difficult to adhere. It can also be used as an adhesion modifier for coatings, adhesives and inks. CP-826 has shown to be a good primer for polyurethane foam used in athletic shoe construction when over coated with solvent base polyurethane adhesive. Has good stability in aromatic hydrocarbons.
