Advanced Polymer Architecture

view MSDS    request a sample                Viton® GBL-200S Sheets
A new Advanced Polymer Architecture Viton® with 68% fluorine, that is peroxide-cured. It is similar to VTR-8650, but with a significantly lower gum polymer viscosity of ~ 25 ML at 121°C, allowing it to be blended with VTR-8650 to reach intermediate viscosity ranges. Cures exceptionally fast to a high state of cure. Has improved mold release/mold fouling properties compared to Viton® GBL-200.

  • Cures exceptionally fast to a high state of cure.
  • Shows improved mold release/mold fouling properties compared to Viton® GBL-900 and 200
  • Shows improved mold flow, less shear sensitivity, and lower extruder die swell for a ~65 Mooney FKM
  • Shows excellent physical properties with high elongation, both original and aged
  • Shows similar heat, fluids, and low temperature resistance compared to Viton® GBL-900 and 200
  • Shows improved water resistance/volume swell in water compared to Viton® GBL-900 and 200
  • Shows excellent compression set resistance with low or no postcure
It is recommended if mixing in an internal mixer to use at least a 70% load factor.

  view MSDS    request a sample                Viton® GBLT-600S

Viton® GBLT-600S is a one polymer alternative to GLT and GFLT for fuel seals and fuel injector O-rings
  • Better low temperature sealing than GRLT...40°C and below
  • Better fuel/alcohol/methanol resistance than GLT
  • Current GFLT and GLT auto specs could be combined into one specification
Viton® GBLT-600S derives additional benefits from new Advanced Polymer Architecture technology
  • Physical modulus is low, elongation is high...parts are easier to stretch, more tear resistant in automated assembly equipment
  • Cures exceptionally fast to a high state of cure
  • Shows improved mold release/mold fouling properties compared to GLT and GFLT
  • Shows excellent compression set resistance with little (2 hr at 232°C) or no postcure
It is recommended to use at least 70% load factor in an internal mixer.
