Viton® A-331C is an incorporated cure “A-family” dipolymer designed for the injection and transfer molding of parts requiring improved demolding “hot tear” resistance. The moderate viscosity level of Viton® A-331C also allows for satisfactory compression molding of parts.

Features of Viton® A-331C are: Intermediate viscosity level (when compared with related “O-ring” polymers Viton® A-402C). Fully precompounded with reduced curative level and incorporated process aid. Has improved processing, increased mold flow, better mold release with less mold fouling and improved demolding “hot tear” with good compression set resistance.

Applications: Injection, transfer and compression molding of: O-rings, seals, and gaskets. Other profiles requiring improved demolding “hot tear” and extruded O-ring cord, hose, and other profiles.

Viton® A-361C* is an incorporated cure A-family dipolymer designed for the injection and transfer molding of parts requiring better metal adhesion along with the fluid and heat resistance characteristics typical of fluoroelastomers. The moderate viscosity level of Viton® A-361C also allows for satisfactory compression molding of parts.

Features of Viton® A-361C are: Intermediate viscosity level (when compared with Viton® A-201C/Viton® A-401C). Fully precompounded with reduced curative level and incorporated metal adhesion promoter. Has improved processing, increased mold flow, easier mold release with less mold fouling and improved demolding “hot tear” plus good metal bonding with standard industrial primers.

Applications: Compression, transfer, and injection molding of: O-rings and gaskets and valve stem and crankshaft seals (and other bonded parts requiring fluid and heat resistance of the A-family of Viton®)

Viton® A-401C fluoroelastomer is an incorporated cure “A-family” dipolymer designed for compression molding of sealing devices that must meet major fluoroelastomer specifications. In addition to the heat and chemical resistance characteristics typical of Viton® fluoroelastomers, Viton® A-401C offers significant improvements in processing and rheology. Viton® A-401C can be blended with similar Viton® types to provide variations in processing, properties, and shrinkage.

Compared with Viton® E-60C, Viton® A-401C features: Fully precompounded O-ring curative level. Improved compression molding with increased mold flow, easier mold release and less mold fouling. Has improved extrusion, increased cure rate, improved compression set resistance and same mold shrinkage as Viton® E-60C.

Applications: Viton® A-401C is highly recommended for O-rings, extruded cord, gaskets, seals, and profiles. Viton® A-401C can be formulated to meet fluoroelastomer specifications Mil-R-83248B, AMS 7276D, and AMS 7259A.
