VANATURAL^® bentonite is pure natural bentonite clay for animal care formulations. It is also suitable for use in topical and cleansing preparations that are marketed as organic or containing organic ingredients.

VEEGUM^® magnesium aluminum silicate products are natural smectite clays that have been water-washed to optimize purity and performance. These clays are used to stabilize suspensions and emulsions, and to optimize the flow properties of aqueous compositions. These benefits are also present in synergistic combinations with organic gums, such as VANZAN^® xanthan gum, and polymeric thickeners.

VANZAN xanthan gum is a polysaccharide that is widely used as a rheology control agent for aqueous systems. It increases viscosity, helps to stabilize emulsions, and prevents the settling of solids in a wide variety of applications.

          VANATURAL A rapidly hydrating high purity bentonite clay for most animal care applications. Its INCI Name is Bentonite.

• Stabilizes emulsions against separation, particularly at elevated temperatures.
• Stabilizes suspensions against particle settling and hard packing.
• Provides thickening and the absorptive properties in masks and poultices.
• Provides a silky, tack-free feel in topical preparations.
• Is synergistic with common thickeners such as xanthan gum and CMC.
• Reduces the slippery or sticky feel of water soluble gums and polymers.
• Is compatible with most anionic and nonionic ingredients used in personal care formulations.

          VANZAN NF is the general purpose grade suitable for most pharmaceutical and personal care applications. It conforms to the USP/NF Xanthan Gum monograph.

          VEEGUM Granules The standard grade for a wide range of applications. VEEGUM is USP/NF Magnesium Aluminum Silicate Type IA.

          VEEGUM HS Granules The most electrolyte-tolerant grade, typically used in cleansing products. VEEGUM HS is Purified Bentonite N.F.

          VEEGUM K Granules A stabilizer for acid pH oral suspensions. VEEGUM K is USP/NF Magnesium Aluminum Silicate Type IIA.

           VEEGUM Ultra Granules A unique acidic smectite clay that is especially easy to hydrate.
